February Devlog


V2 - First level near completion - needs some minor UI additions. Additions include:

  • Smooth scene transitions
  • Generator fixed.
  • Tank battle completed.
  • player speed fixed.
  • Underlying systems improved.
  • Ammo system implemented.
  • Improved animations.
  • Minor VFX implementation.

Level 2 added in playable state. New features include:

  • Vertical gameplay
  • New enemy types
  • Reworked enemy weapon system.
  • Elevators
  • Grabbing and dragging system
  • Environmental hazards
  • New objectives ("Puzzles")

We will continue work on the second level, right now in a playable state but objectives need tweaks and ending "boss" fight needs to be implemented as well as transition to third level. We plan on including two new enemy types, one as a boss for level 2 and a common enemy for level three, as well as expanding on the gameplay loop of the bounce mechanic into level three. Planned features include:

  • Level 3 implementation
  • Level difficulty choice.
  • Rework enemy AI.
  • Main menu rework.
  • Pause menu implementation.
  • Checkpoints
  • Cutscenes between levels.
